How does a quiz night work?
One person opens the host link on a laptop or tablet. Teams join with the QR code or game PIN, choose a name and submit answers using one phone per team. Questions and scores run automatically. Fast correct answers earn more points, so discuss your answer before choosing.
What does it cost for the group?
Pay €19.99 once for the whole group, not per player. Up to 50 teams can join, with one or several people per team. There is no subscription. Your host link arrives by email after payment and you can play without limit for 20 days. The 20 days begin with the first quiz start; a practice game counts too.
Twelve friends? Try four teams of three
Mix interests across the teams, agree who will submit answers and choose memorable team names. Pairs or individual players work too. Automatic scoring means no one has to spend the evening marking answer sheets.
A sample programme for your weekend with friends
Try a quiz on Saturday evening after dinner. At 8 pm, set up the host laptop and sound, form teams and help everyone join. Start the roughly 45-minute quiz at around 8.15 pm. Feel free to take a drinks break halfway through: the host can pause and resume. Allow another ten minutes for the podium and a small prize. Set aside 60 to 90 minutes in total; this is a suggested schedule, not a fixed playing time.
Playing a pub quiz in a holiday cottage
Check that the Wi-Fi is reliable where you’ll be playing. If needed, ask the owner whether the TV has a suitable connection and bring your own cable. A TV is useful but optional: questions also appear on the team phones. Test the sound with the free demo before you start. The full quiz needs an internet connection; it is not an offline download.
What should you prepare?
Use a host laptop or tablet, reliable internet, sound and one phone per team. A TV or projector is optional: questions also appear on team devices. Test the connection and sound before your friends arrive. Players do not need an app or account.
At home, in a cottage or after dinner
Use the quiz as an indoor part of a friends’ weekend or after a shared meal. You arrange your venue and food; the purchase is a digital quiz without a hired presenter. Choose a shared language at checkout: English, Dutch, German, French or Spanish.
Try it before planning the full night
Play three sample questions in the free demo to see joining, answering and the podium. Choose General Knowledge for the complete quiz night. The full questions and answers remain part of the purchased quiz.
